Dr Gary ParkerDr Gary Parker BVSC (Hons)


Gary graduated with honours in 1976 from The University of Sydney. He worked in Wingham, Lincoln (England) and Coffs Harbour before moving to the sunny South Coast in 1984. He has always worked in mixed practices because of the variety of work that this provides. He has a special interest in surgery and acupuncture. In his spare time Gary enjoys golf, tennis, table tennis, gardening, the beach, bush and his tropical fish!

Dr Andrew OttleyDr Andrew Ottley BVSC (Hons)


Andrew graduated with honours from in 1998 from The University of Sydney. He worked in Ulladulla for 5 years before moving to the U.K to work and travel. Andrew returned to become co-owner of the Hospital in 2005.He enjoys all that the area has to offer-both the natural beauty and wildlife and the great sense of community. He has a special interest in dermatology. Outside of work, Andrew enjoys tennis, skiing, the beach, gardening, travelling and art.

Dr Rebecca HofmanDr Rebecca Hofman BVSC (Hons)

Rebecca graduated with honors in 2000 from The University of Sydney before moving to Ulladulla, where she worked for 3 years before working in practice in the UK for 2 years. Rebecca returned to Ulladulla in 2005.Rebecca Rebecca enjoys veterinary practice and has developed a keen interest in Traditional Chinese Herbal Medicine, in which she has done considerable post graduate study. Rebecca also enjoys surfing, bushwalking, skiing, running, tennis and works part time as a swim instructor, teaching children to swim at Ulladulla Leisure Centre. She is the proud owner of Finn, a very energetic Kelpie!


Veterinary Nurse Veronica SperringVeronica Sperring

Many of our older clients will recognise Veronica as the nurse who has been here forever! Veronica was born and bred in Milton and became the first vet nurse in the area in 1975.She worked for 7 years, took a 7 year break to start a family, and then returned to work. Veronica is the Senior Nurse and is very passionate about her job. She also is the owner of Bundy, the little grey dog who might sometimes greet you in the waiting room, and Kishka, the fluffy cat often asleep behind the front desk! Veronica likes reading, keeping fit and caravanning with her friends.

Veterinary Nurse Liz LockyerLiz Lockyer

Liz grew up on a sheep property in Rylestone, near Mudgee, and worked as a veterinary nurse there before moving to our area in 1987,when she started working with us. Liz is our Senior Receptionist and is often the face that will greet you! She is very knowledgeable and full of up to date advice for any queries you may have. She loves fishing, especially in her beloved Lake Conjola! Liz also loves reading, gardening and playing with her dog Kia.

Veterinary Nurse Kathryn Kingston-BuntKathryn Kingston-Bunt

Kath was born in Paulesbury, Northhampton in England and moved to Dundas Hostel for immigrants in Sydney as a 7 year old before her family settled in Penrith. She moved to our area and started working as a fresh faced 21 year old in 1981.Kath is often behind the scenes in her role as Senior Surgical Nurse, but is also keen to offer advice with many years of experience in the job. Kath lives at the back of Milton on some acres where she has quite a few pets -her cats Jasper and Rosie, Labrador Maisie, and has recently inherited 3 Cavaliers! Kath and her husband John also run a few cows, produce honey and have started farming blueberries. Kath enjoys being creative, bushwalking and movies.

Veterinary Nurse Lisa JamesLisa James

Lisa grew up in Coffs Harbour and moved to the Shoalhaven in 1994.Lisa was offered a 6 month sponsorship with Skillshare to work at our practice which was exciting, as she had always wanted to work with animals. Lisa was then offered a part time job, which developed into full time work. Since taking time out to start a family, Lisa now works part time and is the owner of Sarge, the big friendly German Shepherd who might stick his head out and say hi on Saturdays! She is also a keen ferret owner. Lisa is a very caring and sharing person and enjoys music, swimming and having good times with her friends and animals.

Veterinary Nurse Suzie JohnsonSuzie Johnson

Suzie moved with her husband and 2 children from the Picton area in 2001 and had been working as a vet nurse in a busy Sydney practice. Suzie is our weight loss consultant and runs our free of charge computer based Royal Canin Slimfit program and weight checks. She also coordinates production of our monthly newsletter. Suzie loves playing with her dog Zeek and 2 cats, Meg and Lexi. Suzie is also a foster carer and enjoys the challenge and rewards given by caring for kids. Suzie is a keen gardener and enjoys camping with her friends and family. She is also always proud to show off her scrapbooking prowess.
